Why use a VESDA system?


The active sampling, tolerance to contamination and sensitivity of VESDA systems enables reliable sampling in air-conditioning ducts despite dilution by the high air flows.	The sampling pipe of a VESDA smoke detector can be installed across the width of a duct. If any smoke is carried along by the air flow it will be detected by the VESDA unit and an alarm will be raised.
